A guard dog for your kit. Minus the vet bills.

Kit Hound barks the moment your plant, farm kit, lorries or generators move when they shouldn't, and keeps every service, hour and fix in one tidy logbook. Built for small fleets, from one generator to ten diggers.

Coming soon to iPhone and Android

App screen: a map showing a generator leaving its pitch, with an amber alert reading 'Woof! Your generator's on the move at 02:14' and a button to start theft mode.
App screen: 'My kit' list showing a JCB 3CX, a Cat mini digger, a New Holland tractor, a DAF lorry and a generator, each marked as guarded or with a reminder due.

What Kit Hound does

Guard it, log it, get it back. No fleet-management faff.

Barks when it moves

Pair a tracker, set the hours you're away, and get an alert if your kit leaves its spot or something gets tampered with.

Theft mode

If the worst happens, one tap pulls together what you need: live location, serial numbers, photos and markings, ready for the police and your insurer.

A logbook that nags (nicely)

Hours, services, MOTs, inspections and parts you've fitted, all in one place, with reminders before anything starts sulking.

Why I'm building it

My generator was stolen from right beside my snack van. It was security-marked, but it had no tracker, and I never got it back.

Marking helps once something turns up. What I needed was a heads-up the moment it started moving. That's Kit Hound: the guard dog I wish I'd had, for anyone with kit worth nicking.
